27 June First match in Austria - SV Bad Aussee July 23rd time to be announced. 80 miles from our base , but that's fine having stopped or visited just about everywhere around that area on previous tours. Besides I wont be doing the driving

26 June Still awaiting confirmation of the pre season games in Austria , but time's moving on , so our group have bitten the bullet and booked the trip, well a good mate has actually..9 of us stopping in Zell am See

25 June Sky TV wasted no time in mucking Stoke's fixture around with the announcement of the first set of live games. Saturday home games v Charlton August 18th and Sheffield United 10 November have both been moved from 3:00 to 5:20 kick offs.

22 June No surprises when Le Coq Sportif were named as the club's new kit manufacturers.. Here's hoping they don't have us looking like something out of KFC.

21 June Well we did it , we resigned Hull striker Jon Parkin, Parkin was on loan for a brief spell last season, the fee  £275,000. At least it's not the £1 million that was the rumour doing the rounds...time will tell if he lose some weight and get himself fit.

20 June ST finally arrived ,despite being required to be signed for it was posted through the door.. did Mr Postie just sign the receipt book himself, not impressed...

A further disappointment , following the expiry of my 10 year Premier Membership the club have reverted back to the old style season ticket books rather than a credit card style I've grown to favour over the last 10 years... it has to be said a retro grade step for one of the supposed Premier areas of the ground.

18 June ST still not arrived ,perhaps Mr Postie has been trying to flog it in a pub in Liverpool.

16 June Season Tickets sent out 2 days ago , but no sign of mine up here in Scouse land...

15 June Favourite matchday mode of transport is still the service train early doors, book early for a decent price is the watchword these days ... Cardiff sorted for £23

14 June The fixtures are out and it's Cardiff away first match, the history on and off the pitch that existed between the two clubs appears to have eased and with the policing much improved at Ninian Park Cardiff offers a good day out by train.. care will still be needed

12 June Pre-season tours always come high on my agenda, though still awaiting details of this seasons Austrian tour.

11 June First entry and we're off on our journey , 9,750 miles for the 46 league games alone, add cup games , friendlies and an odd reserve or youth team fixture or two along the way and that figure's likely to reach 15,000 miles ... hopefully journeys end will bring promotion.

10 June Revisted the possibilities of introducing the site.

Historic Domain names stokeontour.com and stokeontour.co.uk obtained in October 2006 , but new site mothballed until the end of the 2006-7 season.
